A flexible bearing plate based on steel plate and rubber mat

چکیده
The bearing plates used in plate load test for highway engineering are typically rigid. However, due to limitations obtaining the accurate distribution of compressive stress at bottom plate, there is often a significant deviation between measured subgrade resilient modulus and actual condition. To address this issue, flexible can be obtain more modulus. In study, we use variance degree mean quantitatively evaluate uniformity stress. create rigid-flexible that similar explore combinatorial design steel rubber mats. We examine factors such as thickness (10, 20, 30 mm) elastic (5, 10, 20 MPa) mat, friction coefficient (μ:0, 0,2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, ∞) subgrade, combined shape characteristics mat plate. reduce lubricant, through our process, develop with relatively uniform Our computations show when μ = 0.05, 0.0001, 0.0780. These results indicate very close load, which meets necessary accuracy requirements applications.

Plate Bearing Tests for Design of Flexible and Rigid Pavements
SYNOPSIS This paper presents the results of a study of pavement design based on the plate bearing list. The report supplements previous papers on pavement design, particularly the study reported in 1952 on the use of the triaxial test for design of flexible pavements. A series of tests was conducted on a test section of the Joint Highway Research Project Test Road. These tests were conducted by...
متن کاملEconomical Steel Plate Girder Bridges
As a service to the bridge design profession, Bethlehem Steel has conducted hundreds of studies of steel plate girder bridges using its Preliminary Bridge Girder Optimization Program. The program is unique because it optimizes plate girder designs on the basis of least cost, not least weight. An evaluation of many study results leads to a number of guidelines which are offered in this paper. Wh...
متن کاملPerformance-Based Plastic Design of Moment Frame-Steel Plate Shear Wall as a Dual System
Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) is an emerging seismic load-resistant system that, compared to other systems, enjoys the advantages of stable ductile behavior, fewer detailing requirements, rapid constructability, and economy. American seismic provisions decree that a SPSW should be designed as a moment frame with a web infill plate. Specifically, in case of buildings taller than 160 ft, it decre...
